What an epic event! Fished on the last Friday of February, the TopCats fish were really on the munch.

In Peg 2, Redtail Haven, and with 5 minutes to go the Boat Bar had a double hook up that took them to 270lbs level with Marvel Construction (Coconut Peg) and Coco Beach Bar (Deep Water).

Amazingly in the last minute both the Marvels and Coco Beach Bar were in to fish. Drew landed his 40lb Carp first then there was a nail-biting wait for Rob who eventually landed the 80lb Mekong Catfish to take the victory by 40lbs. This day Rob was fishing with Malcolm and many congratulations to the Coco Beach Bar as it was the first win in 7 events.

Incredible generosity from the team as they donated the 4000 baht first prize to the guides.

There was a 2000 baht prize, sponsored by Pallatrax for the largest fish of the day, which went to Casey from the Boat Bar who caught the magnificent Chao Phraya Catfish estimated at 120lbs, What a fight and what a fish!

Other highlights were the captures of the TopCats pets, Tyson, the dorsal fin less Mekong and Casper and the Platinum Redtail.
