A big thank you to Simon and his team for the 2 day sessions I had at Topcats.

 

Everything from the initial email enquiry to the transport to and from our hotel was well organised.

 

Simon and his teams hospitality and helpfulness was great.

 

A special thank you to Doy who worked hard to help me catch my first Mekong not a monster at 40kgs but very memorable as I had the challenge of not just the Mekong but a torrential tropical downpour as well.

 

The only disappointment was I had a run on my second rod whilst playing the Mekong which turned out to be a Salween Rita catfish which one of the other guides landed.

 

Over the 2 days 37 fish were landed including 2 Arapaima biggest 90kgs and 10 Siamese Carp to 35kgs.
