Poachers Paradise Restaurant

The ideal place to come and relax either taking a break from the fishing or at the end of the day when you need to wind down after some arm aching action.

Our airy open plan restaurant has ample seating and overlooks the lake, providing you with an idyllic setting to eat our freshly prepared food.

We cater for all styles. The Western food includes a full breakfast menu, English Breakfast Tea, and traditional fayre such as handmade burgers, lasagne, Greek salads and homemade fish and chips.

The Thai menu has all the traditional favourites you would expect such as green or yellow curry, Pad Thai and Tom Yum. We firmly believe our homemade spring rolls are the best on the Island.

Everything can be washed down with an icy cold beer or why not try a glass of our reasonably priced wine, handpicked for value and taste.

Nothing is too much trouble for our staff, if you need anything or fancy something not on the menu, please let us know and we will see what we can do.

In the busy times we regularly host BBQ Nights, themed as Meat Feast, Seafood or Thai BBQ specials.

A word of warning like our fish the portions are huge so make sure you are hungry!

The One That Got Away Bar

Relax and share your fisherman’s tales in our well stocked bar. Comfortable sofas are available but why not sit at the bar and watch the big screen TV where we can show the latest news or sports from all over the world.

Bar games are available such as pool, darts and there are our fishy, Koh Samui based pub quizzes that happen from time to time.

In the high season we have the famous Chang beer on tap, and we stock other Thai favourites, Leo, Singha, Tiger and San Miguel Light. Western Beers are also available such as Heineken, Carlsberg and not forgetting a guest cider (Thatcher’s Gold / Haze  or Crumpton Oaks) which always seems to go down well with UK anglers in particular.
