New Fishing Day Record at Topcats

There are 40 species to go at here at TopCats, some are likely impossible to catch, and some are rare, for example we know of only 2 Stingrays and 2 Tarpon.

For a staying customer, the record caught in a stay is 14, a long-standing record from February 2020 and held by one of our regular customers, Danny Bowkis.

This week, Jeffrey, a keen angler from the Netherlands joined us for a day ticket.

Fishing from the Predator Corner peg he caught 15 fish and remarkably 8 species which is a new day ticket record. Sadly, the small Arapaima slipped out of his hands before we could get a good picture, but as you can see all the others are here: Pacu, Tambaqui, Asian Redtail Catfish ,Siamese Carp , Arapaima, Mekong Catfish, Gourami, and the slimy Chinese Carp.
