With the relaxing of the rules for entry I made the last minute decision to come to Thailand via the Phuket test and go.

Having fished TopCats in 2020, I contacted Simon at the airport who kindly fitted me in one of their “holiday specials” at the last minute. The 3 day package with 2 ½ days of fishing was perfect for me en-route to Koh Phangan

The fishing was breath-taking with non-stop action, I landed a total of 39 fish with Carp to 70lb , Amazon Redtails to 70lb, Pacu, Tambaqui and Asian Redtails. The icing on the cake was 2 Arapaima caught from my favourite peg, the Carp Channel. Both bettered by PB which was a 110lb Wels caught in Italy

All the guides are great but I must mention Tadpole, she is something special. My room was comfortable, the food cooked by Joy was delicious and of cause the beers were ice cold.

Cant wait to come again.
