Last week we hosted another Boat Bar Bash. Thanks to the owner of the Boat Bar  for bringing 12 customers on a “Social”.

They are a great crew from one of my favourite bars in Koh Samui, and if you want to sample the hospitality get yourself over to Bangrak and meet Foster and all the Crew.

This latest Boat Bar Bash was not a competition, but we put one of our new polo shirts up for the biggest fish to be decided judged by our guides .

The day started with the 12 people pairing up and then drawing for the 6 available Salas. In this case each team had 2 rods and one bait pack with 1 kg of our new Strawberry flavour boilies.

Most people made do with this but in these bashes, we have no issue with people buying more bait if they want.

The event was over 4 hours and on a great day for fishing everyone caught fish and of course, consumed many beers.

Joy’s cooking was also put to the test and as ever passed with flying colours. She cooks a great range of traditional Thai and Western Foods. The Portions are huge and you never leave TopCats hungry.
