John Found is the Honorary Vice President of the Barbel Society and we welcomed him with his wife just before the Covid lockdown.

John had been fishing in Thailand before, but its fair to say he thoroughly enjoyed his time with us staying for 2 weeks in our Suite Bungalow (with balcony option).

The good thing about staying in one of our Suite Bungalows is that it means you can also have access to our private swims over the back, including the awesome peg called “The Hideaway “ which we believe to be one of the best Redtail pegs in Asia.

Under the expert guidance of Ben, John had over 80 fish and 11 species.

Of course its got to be done on any visit to TopCats …. upgrade to fish the legendary Arapaima Swim …… and John did it very successfully with 2 fish to go with the one he caught in the Predator Swim. You can see his full catch report in the pics below.

John should have been here again at the end of last year but the ongoing Covid situation and a touch of ill health meant he couldn’t come. Wishing him all the best and we all hope to see him soon when the borders eventually re-open.
