I visited TopCats for one week with my son in law just before the Covid Lockdown. The Suite Bungalows were immaculately clean and very comfortable, perfect for the stay. Adam was quite a seasoned angler, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the fishing and holiday experience are never to be forgotten. I caught some amazing fish including one huge Arapaima when I upgraded to fish the Arapaima peg.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service from the staff was first class. The food is well cooked with some traditional UK favourites and served up at your fishing sala.

Simon, the new owner supports Spurs but don’t hold that against him, he made us feel welcome and the whole resort had a friendly atmosphere as all the people staying became good friends with good banter. We went out to sample some fabulous food in the main resort of Chaweng but possibly the best night was in the closer, smaller resort of Lamai as we all went out for St Patricks Day and drank Guinness in the Shamrock Bar till the early hours.

Hopefully I will be back soon and this time I intend on bringing my wife as I am sure she will also enjoy the TopCats hospitality.
