Not many people realise that a lot goes on for us to keep the fish healthy. TopCats is full of naturals; some young lads came down with their big nets and did some big boy’s pond dipping. You would be amazed what they got: small fry, myriads of freshwater shrimps, strings of eggs from various insects, small frogs, tadpoles, various freshwater molluscs etc.

That said we have to regularly feed the monsters in here and some our customers might not know that we buy 500 kg of live Tilapia from our supplier  2 or 3 times a year, normally when there is plenty of water in the Lake.

Bird is a well known supplier of fish in Thailand and we feel his service is first rate . Whilst we don’t feel we need more fish at this stage , catching a Tarpon has always been on my personal bucket list and on one of his trips with Tilapia , he tempted me to buy 3 that he had . Not big yet , between 70 and 90 cm , but in future I expect these acrobatic bars of silver to give our customers some spectacular action.
