Asian Redtail Catfish
Asian Redtail Catfish
Duller in colour, longer and thinner than their Amazon counterparts, the easily distinguishable Asian Redtails are thriving, breeding every year in large numbers.
In the wild they are purported to reach nearly 6ft in length and over 150lbs in weight. TopCats has stocked them up to 80lb but these larger ones are notoriously hard to catch. The smaller ones are readily caught as they are the scavengers of the lake, eating almost anything on the lakebed.
