I have visited Top Cats fishing lake with my wife Sue on many occasions and, in my opinion, it must be the best fishing experience in Thailand. 

The owner, Simon, and his staff make you feel most welcome from the time you arrive and ensure that you are well looked after during your stay.  The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable and give a 5 star service, providing first class care and attention to the fish to ensure they remain healthy.

Even my wife has fished here (her first time fishing) and has become quite skilled with the great support and guidance she has been given and her biggest catch was a 100lb Siamese Carp!

During my visits I average up to 19 fish per day and my biggest catch yet has been a 300lb Arapaima. I have also caught a 110lb Siamese Carp, a giant 135lb Mekong and many other fish over the 100lb barrier.

Top Cats provides an atmosphere of friendliness, laughter, and a real traditional Thai feel about it. The lake and its surrounding areas are stunning and it has an ambience that is both peaceful and tranquil.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable and overlooks the lake, a stunning view to wake up to in the mornings. The food is second to none and the kitchen staff could not be more hospitable.

The menu boasts traditional Thai food and the best Spring Rolls that we have ever tasted. There is also a range of English dishes available including Fish and Chips and a wonderful Full English.

We cannot recommend Top Cats highly enough and are looking forward to many more stays at this wonderful venue.
